About Pooser Plumbing
Our History
The Poosers have been doing plumbing since 1923, however we can only find documentation that dates to 1925 so we use that date as the founding date of these plumbing expertise!
It all started with William A. Pooser Sr. from Holly Hill, SC while working on the Connor's Plantation in Eutawville, SC. William A. Pooser Sr. was regarded as the "town plumber" and his sons Bill Jr. and Clyde Grover, later started up their business in the early 1950s which was known as W.A. Pooser & Sons. When it was time for William to retire his son Clyde Grover Pooser took over the business in 1957 until 1984. In 1984 Clyde Glenn Pooser (known as Glenn, son of Clyde Grover Pooser and father of Josh Pooser) took over plumbing in the Pooser name until 2007. From 2007 to present our current owner Josh Pooser has taken the values and hard work from his family before him to give the same quality and customer service the Poosers have been known for.
Many of the older residents in the Holly Hill and Eutawville community still talk about how William or his sons Bill Jr and Clyde Grover Pooser plumbed their home or building back in the day. It's always amazing to see how different things were done back then and to know we are still chosen as a trusted family owned company to continue on......all Thanks to our loyal customers.
